Now is the perfect time
Bizarre as it may seem, now is the perfect time to be starting up or growing your business. The baby boomers have had a damn good crack at creating wealth for all. They were doing a mighty fine job in their corporate castles until very recently. Alas greed became more prevalent than abundance and so now large chunks of wealth have fallen away like sheets of polar ice fom a glacier on a terribly hot day.
Being frugal is now cool. So while we sit comfortably enjoying all the gadgets we've gathered over the years and take ourselves off to the beach for a swim or the bush for a walk, big business invites its best people to walk away. At the same time they are pulling back on those little extra services which their clients have come to expect over the years. Really, how long are you prepared to wait on the phone?

Enter Gen X

So if you are a smart gen X (30 to 45) with an existing business, with a quality product or service, now is the time to promote what you've got. In this market though, it's best to un bundle if you can. You might also think about hiring one or two of those excellently trained people available right now.
And if you really want to capitalize on the situation, prepare your business for growth.
There is a transition happening as the next cycle begins and the next round of business leaders and entrepreneurs step up. They are bringing their dreams and visions into play. What do you want to create?
It feels like its going to be a very exciting time. Your choice is to be a part of the transition or be an observer.
Opportunities

Never before have we seen the barriers to business entry so low. Technology is incredibly obtainable, quality information is readily available and all forms of professional support is superbly positioned for you to take advantage of. For this we have to thank the business executives who lead us through the last economic cycle.
But now we need a little more feeling and lots more spiritual dynamic in our businesses. The buying power is shifting and the recent economic turbulence has struck a highlighter through the purchasing patterns of the 20 to 40 year olds.
About the only listed company to declare an increase in profits in this last round of announcement was JB Hi-Fi whose primary customers are aged between 18 and 27.
Now is the perfect time to position your business, create new channels and plan for increased demand. Somebody has to pick up the clients the corporates will loose. Are you ready?
Until next time,
